Refund policy

Shemaya Pty Ltd, trading as Shemaya Home Decor, wants you to be satisfied with your purchase. This policy operates in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Damaged, faulty or incorrect products

Please inspect your order when it arrives. If it is damaged, faulty, incorrect or materially different from its description, contact us as soon as possible at enquiry.shemaya@gmail.com and include your order number, a description of the problem, and clear photographs of the product and packaging.

We may ask you to retain the product and packaging while we assess the issue. Where required under the Australian Consumer Law, we will provide an appropriate remedy, which may include a repair, replacement or refund. Reporting an issue outside seven days does not remove any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Made-to-order and custom canvas prints

Our canvas prints are produced specifically for each order. Custom canvas prints are also created using customer-supplied images.

We do not accept change-of-mind returns or exchanges for made-to-order or custom products. This exclusion does not apply where a product is faulty, damaged, unsafe, not fit for purpose or otherwise fails to meet a consumer guarantee.

Customers ordering a custom canvas print are responsible for ensuring that the submitted image is correct and that they have permission to reproduce it. We will contact you if we identify an obvious image-quality problem before production.

Metal wall art

Change-of-mind returns for in-stock metal wall art may be requested within 14 days of delivery.

To qualify, the product must be unused, undamaged and returned in its original packaging. Contact us before returning anything. Unauthorised returns may not be accepted.

Customers are responsible for change-of-mind return postage and the risk of loss or damage during return transit. Original delivery charges are not refundable unless required by law.

Order cancellations

Made-to-order production can begin shortly after an order is received. Cancellation requests must be submitted within 24 hours of placing the order.

We will try to accommodate requests received within this period, but cancellation cannot be guaranteed once production has started. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are unaffected.

Refund processing

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
